Food was okay, dinner RUINED because we got food to go, got to a distant location and discovered no utensils or napkins to eat our food. Dinner was cold by the time we got some knives and forks. LAME SERVICE. Also, food tastes a little like plastic, I think it’s cheap to go containers that did that. It was going to be a three star review until I got into the food and realized I didn’t want to eat it because it smells like plastic
I ordered Spicy Basil Chicken & House Fried Rice 3 days ago. It was the nasties smell & taste. I threw my money in the trash. I tasted the food even after the smell hit my nose it was disgusting. The smell was so bad I had to take it outside to the trash. My kids would not eat any.
Good food. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Back patio is nice in the evening. The food is always authentic and tasty
Great, authentic food. Friendly but slow service.
Decent option for takeout Thai. We had the yellow curry and spicy The curry was actually quite spicy so be warned.
Wow how do they not have a 5 star rating!! So flavorful, cooked by a wonderful family! I'd take this place over the university ave restaurants every time.
Yummy roti and satay and Tom ka Seafood. Didn't try any thing else...
Food was tasty and host was friendly!
Absolutely in love with the taste of food and personnel’s hospitality. The place needs some refurbishment, but food/price and attitude completely compensate! Loyal customers for ages who, unfortunately, left the area and miss that place so much!
I asked if they have anything vegetarian. They didn't, but the front desk guy told me he can make a veg dish with Tofu. I ordered a takeout and when I reached work, I noticed that it was made with chicken or pork, don't know the difference to be able to tell. Anyhow, don't order from here if you want good vegetarian thai.
Nice cozy restaurant with great food and friendly service. The food is a little Americanized, though. Not as spicy as I expect Thai food to be. The red curry I ordered was really tasty, but a bit too sweet. Mango salad was great. They do have a huge menu, and a separate vegetarian menu, so I will have to go back there a few more times to try other items on the menu.
Good burger good service
Quiet enough to speak normally, with tasty and authentic Thai lunch entres around $10! What a find.
Good service, lots of choices and good portions.
Good food, fast service, good parking, place is a little run down though and a bit expensive.
Very underrated place - excellent food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Good food. Nice, quiet atmosphere.
Best tasting Thai food in Palo Alto. A casual no-frills Thai restaurant with authentic flavors. They also have a huge vegetarian menu and unique entrees like “the son in law”. Great for take outs too.
Stellar food, huge vegetarian menu, reasonable prices, and amazing service. I got the veggie panang curry, extra spicy. It was the most delicious Thai food I've had since I moved to the Bay Area. This is my new go to Thai restaurant in the Stanford area. They also have brown rice! They don't mess around with their spice, so this is the place to go if you like your Thai food extra spicy!
Good pad kee mow.. spicy but not overpowering
Nice variety, excellent freshness, deliciously made
They server real and awesome Thai food. It can get really spicy!
I loved this place especially the duck , sea food combination with vegs 😊
Sneakily the best Thai in Palo Alto and the surrounding area. The inside is nothing special, but the outside seating area is really cozy. All of the food is delicious, and they have an exceptional vegetarian menu. Their pad see ew is really top notch, and all of their soups are delicious.
I was really looking forward to Bangkok Cuisine when Google maps showed it having a great Zagat review. While the food and atmosphere were fine, I just wasn't wowed. Usually I'm wowed with Thai food and find myself Mming a lot... but here I just kind of ate. I split-split the pad thai (vegetarian) and pad see ewe (vegetarian) with a friend. The pad see ewe seemed authentic, but the pad thai seemed a little off. There were three of us eating, and none of us remarked that the food was good. Again, we just sort of ate and left. For what it was, the prices seemed a little high.I did like that Bangkok Cuisine is a couple streets off of University, so it's not as busy and bustling, but a little quieter.
If you can handle spice, Best Thai food in downtown Palo Alto.
Best Thai food in Palo Alto. Fantastic taste, great quality, cheaper than most places, reasonable ambience. Also, nice big portions! I was pleasantly surprised by how good the vegetarian curries were, especially the house forest curry.
I eat here at least once every month.I love the down-to-earth atmosphere and great food (at very reasonable prices). One of my Thai friends also gave this place thumbs up.
The food is excellent, Authentic and comes in big portions. The restaurant is clean and the service is top notch. The setting might not be fancy but everything is excellent at this family owned restaurant. I met the owners and they're so friendly and nice people.
Dingy place, reheated food. Never going back
Solid thai food, good service. I haven't found much better in Palo Alto anyway.
Enjoyed it good meal with friends. The food was well prepared and tasty.
The food is Great! The inside is not much to write about, but the service and the food were amazing. I had the Sampler for a meal and everything was great.
The food was amazing, 5 stars for sure. However the service was awful. They forgot our drinks, and served the appetizer after we had finished our dinner, and the drinks they forgot were still on bill.Again, the food was fantastic.
Green curry was my favorite, with peas and green bell pepper. Been trying to find similar in Maine. I miss Bangkok Cuisine!
Bland pad see ew. Spider in the bathroom. Eek. Fried spring rolls were mushy and everything Felt like it was reheated.
Had the Ginger Chicken and Pad Thai. It was average I’d say. Very nice lady who served us.
Spicy eggplant with pork was excellent! Love the back porch. Duck was awesome too!
Food was alright. They werent very attentive, and the server didnt speak any english. one of the ladies was taking pictures of the server while he brought us our food.... strange. We asked for lime for the pad thai, and they brought a lemon which we turned down.I also had to flag them down for water multiple times.Overall... eh...
We had an awesome experience at this restaurant. We liked the amazing environment and the food. The staff members are very friendly. I am glad we ultimately decided to visit here.
the patio is probably better than inside
Great Thai restaurant, and for me better then most partly because of their separate vegetarian menu!
Delicious Thai food and excellent service! One of my favorite Thai restaurants in town!
This place has great staples (pad thai, pad see ew, green/red/yellow curry) at awesome prices. The service is friendly and quick. Whenever I call ahead for pick-up the food is ready in 10 minutes, sometimes less!
Ask for the dedicated vegetarian menu. Solid Thai options for a fulfilling vegan meal.
Great Thai food, quick.
Place used to be good. Amount of meat in a dish now very low, taste is bland, too much lettuce and cabbage everywhere. So sad.
I'm wonder what the diabetes rate in Thailand because this food tastes like sugar!! Everything is sweet I'm starving and I stopped eating... SUGAR OVERLOAD
